MAS HAUT BUIS

Plume Coq

vin Plumecoq2

This wine comes from 3.5 hectares of vineyards planted four years ago in the area of Fozières, a project bringing together Olivier Jeantet, his children Robin and Alice, Géraldine Laval (Clos Maia), Michelin-starred chef Charles Fontes and five other friends.

The idea of Plume Coq is really to make a wine by friends for friends. Given the youth of the vineyard, only rosé was produced in 2017. There should have been a red wine in 2018 but the mildew significantly reduced the harvest, which only allowed to produce the rosé, and in small quantities.

It is a lively rosé on the palate, with a subtle aromatic flavor, light but still with enough body to accompany a summer gastronomy.

Finally a red was produced in 2019.

Plume Coq 2019 Rosé
Nose on fresh rose, redcurrant, raspberry. Nice marriage between smoothness and chiseled freshness with persistence on the finish.

Plume Coq 2019 Red
Heady scents of fruit (red and black berries), with a beautiful attack on the palate, a dynamic and fresh structure, a crunchy tannin and an irresistible fluidity. A wine for friends that is even more than that. Drink over the next three years.
